We have pursued R J Hohimer
relentesly since 1995 when we found "Tulips"
and "Toast and ...." in Missoula
MT, wishing we could have bought all the Sutton
Gallery owned. Since then we have coaxed 18
more to our walls, plus the postcards to admire
when we are away from our stash. They are
all favorites for the color, perspective,
variety of subjects. Over the sofa is "Cup
of Joe" that was visible in a national
magazine advertisement (paint or wallpaper
as I recall). We cannot get enough! |

Hot Spot Club canvas,
"It's proudly hanging on my wall and
looks excellent! I have been looking for a
jazz piece for quite some time. When I visited
differentgalleries and explain them what I
wanted, I was very much describing Hot Spot.
The colors are great and the 'cool' look on
the piano players face sums up the feeling
as 'cool', 'fun' and 'happening.' I will have
a lot of fun trying to duplicate the fun in
the piece at my place!" |

Yes, I love the Easy
Street poster- In fact I like everything on
the web site. That one I just kept coming
back to when I was trying to select my first,
but not last, R.J. Hohimer artpiece. We are
really into the Blues music and your art seems
to just match that feeling as well as jazz!!!
Looking forward to seeing more of your work. |

I have just received
my wonderful, wonderful pictures - 'Ruby and
Ray' is great; 'Sax Factor' is even better;
and 'Kiss from A Lady' is too good for words.
Thank you so much - it won't be the last time
we do business!! |

My husband and I have
been collecting your artwork for maybe 10
or so years. We first saw you at the Minneapolis
Uptown Art Fair - which runs the first weekend
in August. We also got a poster from an art
gallery here in Mpls. (can't remember the
name). Then we found a print and your postcards
at a gallery in South Beach! I just finished
having all the postcards framed. We now have
your wonderful art in our dining, living &
bedrooms, hallway, den & bathroom! I'm
looking forward to getting a few more pieces.
I LOVE the brilliant colors and dramatic depictions
of dance, jazz, clubs and love. Thank you
for being so talented and offering your art
work at many price points! |

My wife and I recently
bought an embellished Chicago Blue that we
hang prominently in our family room. We love
your work (and get a LOT of compliments from
visitors to our suburban PA home) and look
forward to adding to our collection!! |

After months of looking
for jazz-style prints in stores, malls, and
the internet, I was starting to wonder if
I would ever find a print that really suited
my taste. I finally came across R.J. Hohimer's
web site and when I saw the Hot Spot Club,
I knew I had to order one. I recently received
my print (giclee on paper) and I couldn't
be happier!
-The web site was very helpful in making my
decision in that it explained what giclee
is (I had never heard of it before) and calling
the studio itself and talking to them made
me even more confident that I was going to
be happy with my purchase.
-When my print arrived, I was shocked to see
how vividly the colors came out. As good as
the image looked on my computer screen, the
print looked 10 times better.
-The studio also helped me with my framing
decision by explaining to me the difference
between UV glass and regular glass and also
reminded me that the print itself has a UV
coating on it already.
-I would recommended the Hohimer studio to
anyone interested in this style of art and
would certainly order from them again. |
